Some Frequently Asked Questions:

(1) Do I need to do both the Keyboarding Procedure and the Machine Shorthand Procedure? No. You may do one or the other.

(2) Do I need to bring hard copies of the exercises to class? Yes. Part of the grade for the class is the homework. You are not graded on how many mistakes you do (or do not) make. The homework grade is just that...a homework grade, because I have asked you to do these exercises for practice.

(3) If I make more than one attempt at the paragraph or the dictation, do I bring everything or just my best ones? Bring everything. The homework grade is not based upon just the best copy, but your willingness to show me how much work you have done.

(4) Will we go over the terms before taking any tests?  Absolutely!

(5) Will it hurt my grade if I don't get the homework part exactly right the first time?  Oh no. This quarter started a little crazily, and I do understand that. Please don't stress the homework too much yet.

(6) Will we be taking a test this Thursday? There will be a quizzie towards the end of class.
